Project Ready, a signature program of the National Urban League, is designed to prepare high school students for college and career. Nationally, the program enrolls 2,000 students across 27 Urban League Affiliates.
The curriculum is comprised of three broad learning areas: Academic Achievement, Social Development and College/Career Readiness.
Project Ready ULP has partnered with the Philadelphia School District to host this program at Edison High School and the YMCA to host a second cohort through their Y Achievers at Villanova. Readiness is achieved through workshops, mock interviews, a Career Day, a resource fair, projects and college trips.
