Join ULP for our 2020 Empowerment Dinner

Join us for the 2020 Empowerment Dinner and Community Scholarship Program. We will celebrate 103 years of the Urban League of Philadelphia partnering with local businesses and individuals to carry out vital work that is empowering communities and changing lives throughout the greater Philadelphia region. A highlight of the free event will be the presentation of the 2020 Community Scholarship recipients. This year, 77 local high school students will be receiving a scholarship. We will also celebrate our 2020 Award Honorees. These community champions are individuals who have made a commitment to the development of diversity, inclusion, and philanthropy. Their efforts have made a positive impact and helped create new opportunities for underserved and underemployed individuals. Our 2020 honorees:
- Power of One Award: Lorina Marshall-Blake, President Independence Blue Cross Foundation
- Innovation in Education Award: Dr. Donald Generals, President Community College of Philadelphia
- Visionary Award: Pennsylvania State Senator Vincent Hughes, 7th District
